The thing is that I worked this past two weeks on enhancing a current component for a Joomla! site for a client and in developing the enhancements I end up duplicating forms which are pretty much the same with small differences in the add/edit/admin stages. This looks as a very promising solution. Now my problem is that I am not familiar with AJAX/Comet so I will review your code and see how can I get the AJAX working myself (for other purposes).
